1. You need a description of your business, you should summarize it in one sentence.
2. You need a financial model; how much will your business cost and how much do you expect to make.
3.What are the risks involved? How will you be able to tell if you are making money or losing money, you need a risk mitigator, or some milestones in which to measure your business. How much time do you plan to work at your business?
4.Why are you uniquely qualified to succeed in this business?
A business plan can take from 8-100 hours to write and implement. You can go and enroll in a community college, you can go on the Web and do research. You can go to the library or book store and get some books on the subject. Another way I would strongly recommend is to go to your local Small Business Administration office and have them to prepare a Small Business Plan for you, free. Of course you have to give them all of the pertinent details.
